LAHORE: Bangladesh High Commissioner Masum Ahmed Chaudhry accompained by his wife, called on Punjab Governor Shahid Hamid at the Governor House here on Wednesday. Punjab Governor's Begum Sarwat Shahid Hamid was also present on the occasion.

During the courtesy meeting, various topics of mutual interest came under discussion. The governor hoped that historic and deep-rooted relations between the two countries would be further cemented with the passage of time.

The visiting high commissioner thanked the governor for the warm welcome and hospitality. He also attended a luncheon hosted by the governor in his honour.
