LHC receives
reference for
appointing judge
LAHORE: The Lahore High Court has received a reference for appointing a judge for holding judicial inquiry into the death of Javed Ashraf, a PML(N) leader who was killed here last week.
A spokesman of the Lahore High Court said on Tuesday that the reference has been sent by the Governor Punjab, Lt. Gen. (Retd) Raja Saroop Khan.
The Lahore High Court is considering the matter and will take a decision very soon in this regard.-APP
