Bombay sugar
remains steady
BOMBAY: Bombay sugar prices remained steady on Monday amidst improved consumer demand and thin supplies, dealers said.
Ready sugar S-30 gained 10/15 rupees to 1,295/1,315 rupees per quintal while M-30 was up 15/20 rupees to 1,320/1,350 per quintal.
"Sugar mill delivery rose 10/15 rupees to 1,225/1,240 per quintal on higher offtake by bulk consumers-mills," a dealer added.-Reuter
