ISLAMABAD: Dr. Bernhard Vogel, minister- President of the state of Thringia, Germany called on President Farooq Leghari at the Aiwan-e-Sadr here today.

During the meeting matters relating to the Pak-German co-operation, particularly in the economic field came under discussion and shared desire was expressed to further enhance them.

President Farooq Leghari briefed Dr. Vogel about the latest situation in THE Indian held valley of Kashmir and continuing human rights violations there.

Ambassador of Germany to Pakistan Jurgen Kleiner and other senior concerned officials were also present during the meeting.-APP
