Kharal asks
opposition to avoip
confrontation
FAISALABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Khalid Ahmed Khan Kharal, has said that the PPP had rendered unprecedented sacrifices for a democratic order in Pakistan and it would continue to implement its policies and development programme to protect the basic Human Rights of its masses.
Addressing a public gathering in 'Moaza Jakkar" near Kamalia on Friday, he asked the opposition to shun confrontational attitude and start positive dialogue with the government so that a consensus stand could be taken on all important national and international issues.
Kharal said that the Federal government has allocated Rs.25 lakh for the supply and renovation of electric system in tehsil Kamalia during the current financial year. He said that all basic amenities of life inclu ding electricity, telecommunication, water supply, drainage, education, health facilities and link roads would be provided even in far-flung area of the country during next three years.
The minister also announced a grant of Rs.50 lakh for the construction of a sewerage and soling project for "Moaza Jakkar". The construction and repair work on the four metaled roads of this area will also be started from next month, he added.
Sardar Abdul Aziz Khan,a prominent political figure of PML- announced to join PPP along with his scores of colleagues.
A number of delegations from this area also met the minister at his residence Kharal House. The minister gave a patient hearing to their problems and issued orders for the redressal of the same.-APP
