Islamabad: Punjab Senior Minister Malik Mushtaq Awan, on Saturday said the government will not allow the opposition to pursue politics of terrorism in Punjab.

Awan said the opposition leader had now made a plan to adopt politics of terrorism in Punjab. He said Punjab was peaceful province and the government will not allow him to undertake politics of terrorism in it. He said it was the prime duty of the government to protect life and property of the people and it would not allow the opposition to spill the blood of innocent people by their acts of terrorism.
He categorically stated that those dreaming to pollute the peaceful atmosphere of Punjab through acts of terrorism would routed out completely. What was the necessity that Javaid Ashraf was taking out a procession of an armed group on April 4, the day on which the death anniversary of late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was being commemorated, he questioned.-APP
