KASUR: CIA Police, Kasur topped the district in nabbing the out laws and recovery of stolen and snatched articles amounting more than Rs 23 laks during last one night only, when the district police conducted a general hold up.

Disclosing this a spokesman of the police said that under the directives of the SSP Kasur, Suhail Khan the police conducted surprise raids various narrow points from where the CIA contingent nabbed many persons and recorded three rifles of 7 mm, carbines 3 guns of 12 bore, 1 rifle of 222 and 16 bullets from them.

Similarly the same police recovered 32 grams heroin, 365 grams charas, 85 grams opium, 36 bottles of liquor and 225 bottles of wine. 12 proclaimed offenders were also arrested.
