RECORDER REPORT

FAISALABAD: A 16-member Advisory Committee of the Collectorate of Customs, Central Excise and Sales Tax has been constituted in Faisalabad to run the affairs of this collectorate amicably upto the entire satisfaction of the local exporters, importers, industrialist and businessmen.

Mumtaz Haider Rizvi Collector of Customs will be the Chairman of this committee while Commissioner Income Tax, Muhammad Iqbal Deputy Director Export Promotion Bureau, Haji Abdur Razzaq President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mian Muhammad Latif, Chairman Faisalabad Dry Port Trust, Mian Zahid Anwar, Chairman All Pakistan Cloth Exporters Association, Mian Muhammad Saeed, Chairman All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association, Ch. Muhammad Boota, President Faisalabad Customs Agents Group, Sultan Mehmood Noorani, General Secretary Faisalabad Foundry Owners Trade Group, Khawaja Abdullah Secretary Faisalabad Paint Manufacturers Association, Khushi Muhammad, President PVC Pipes Manufacturers Association, Baga Ullah Sanai, President Press Owners Association, Shafqat Mehmood Deputy Collector (Customs) Dry Port Faisalabad, Abdul Sattar Aora, Deputy Collector Central Excise Customs House, Muhammad Tahir Deputy Collector Sales Tax and Dr. Arslan Subuktageen Assistant Collector Headquarters Customs House Faisalabad are included in it as its members.

The committee will hold regular meetings to discuss and resolve the problems being faced by the trade and business community of this region.
