4th phase of

recruitment in

govt depts to

start by June

ISLAMABAD: The Government is going to launch fourth phase of recruitment in government departments by June, sources said.

In this connection, the Establishment Division has written a letter to all ministries, divisions and government and semi-government organisation to furnish lists of vacants seats under their jurisdiction at the earliest.

Sources said that government has planned to recruit some 10,000 persons in this phase. The posts have fallen vacant due to switch over of the employees recruited during the first and second phase of recruitments in government departments.

It may be noted that government had recruited some 40,000 people in three phases but a large number of recruits of first two phases had jumped to better posts in the next phase.

Now, the sources said, government had decided to fill in all these posts before the budget 1996-97.
