KESC advised

to provide legal

connections to

Katchi Abadis

KARACHI: The government of Sindh has advised the Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) to take congnizance of the genuine Katchi Abadis and provide them legal connections in order to avoid power thefts in Karachi.

The advice was given by Mohammad Iqbal Yousuf, Adviser to the Chief Minister, when he called on the Managing Director of KESC here on Wednesday.

Iqbal Yousuf specially mentioned the serious greivances of the people in the areas like Federal B Area, Nazimabad, North Nazimabad and Malir Regarding frequent power failures. Their complaints should be attended to on priority basis, he said.

Present in the meeting were Syed Tanzim Hussain Naqvi, Managing Director, Akhtar Ansari, General Manager, Transmission's and Distribution, Chief Engineer Distribution Khalid Jameel.
