AFTAB SHERPAO
NWFP Chief Minister, Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao in his message on the occasion said that best way to celebrate Eid-i-Milad-un-Nabi was to renew our pledge to follow Uswa-e-Hasana with spirit and deeds, sacrify our individual interest for the national objective and work for the welfare of Muslim Ummah and all human beings.
He said that Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) was a symbol of love, affection, fraternity and brotherhood, and his love was not for only Muslims, but he also loved the people who were non-Muslims, as the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is called Rehmat ul-lil Aalimeen. He said that now it was our duty to follow the teachings of Holy Prophet (PBUH) and try to make ourselves a true Muslim. He said that Pakistan was the fort of Islam, and its existence is our existence, therefore, we should shun our personal differences and maintain complete peace and harmony in our ranks.
