LHC asks courts

to dispose of

pending cases

LAHORE: The Acting Chief Justice, Lahore High Court Mr. Justice Irshad Hasan Khan has desired that all the three years old cases pending in the subordinate judiciary should be disposed of by December 31, 1995.

Rao Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Registrar, Lahore High Court has issued instructions to all the District and Sessions judges in the Punjab to give priority to old cases and clear the backlog of three years old cases within four months i.e. by the end of the year 1995.

They have been further asked to submit progress reports regarding disposal of pending three years old cases.
