KUJ supports

ANPS, PNPO

stand on

newsprint duty

KARACHI: Karachi Union of Journalists (KUJ) has endorsed the stand taken by the Pakistan Newspapers and Periodicals Association (PNPO) and All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) on newsprint duty.

The Executive Council of KUJ which met here Tuesday at Karachi Press Club however linked their support to the implementation of Wage Board Awards and labour laws by members of the two organisations.

The meeting also called for announcement of second interim relief prior to the implementation of forthcoming 6th Wage Board Award.

It also endorsed the holding of Hyderabad Union of Journalists' convention.-APP
