FAISALABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Khalid Ahmed Khan Kharal has expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the sad demise of Begum Salma Tasaddaq Hussain, a renowned activist of the Pakistan movement.

In a condolence statement, he paid rich tributes to the legendry figure of Pakistan movement who remained active in Pakistani politics over the last four decades. She was a lady with extraordinary qualities of head and heart who worked daringly and paved way for Pakistani women to enter into the political areas and play their role in national uplift, the statement said.

The information minister has prayed to Almighty Allah for the rest of departed soul in eternal peace and patience for the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.-APP
