ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto has instructed the Central Board of Revenue (CBR) to take notice of the genuine complaints of business community regarding income tax return forms.

Mian Iqbal Farid, member income tax CBR, stated this while talking to a delegation of traders who held a meeting with him under the leadership of Syed Kabir Ali Wasti, general secretary PML-Q.

He said that an announcement by CBR with regard to solution of traders problems is likely within a few days.

According to a press release of PML-Q, Farid said that Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto wanted to provide maximum facilities to the traders and Abdul Rahim, chairman CBR was discussing the matter with other officials of the CBR. As soon as the decision was made it would be notified for the traders, he added.

He said that traders complaints were being given due consideration and a just decision would be taken soon.

Besides, Syed Kabir Ali Wasti, the delegation comprised of Choudhry Muhammad Asif, Choudhry Muhammad Suleman, Hafiz Muhammad Rafique, Haji Choudhry Ishaque, Sheikh Shakil Ahmad, Zulfiqar Abbasi, Zahid Iqbal, Haji Saifullah and Lala Muhammad Rafique.

The delegation thanked the Prime Minister and Chairman Central Board of Revenue and expressed hope that solution to their problems would be provided very soon.-APP
