Cepa to build

deep sea port at

Keti Bandar

KARACHI: Consolidated Electric Power Asia (Cepa) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Government of Pakistan on July 24, to build a $ one billion deep sea port at Keti Bandar.

Cepa has deposited a performance guarantee of about Rs.300 million to build a 1320 megawatts power project costing Rs.1.5 billion at Keti Bandar. This was stated by the Director General, Sindh Coal Authority (SCA) Ahmeduddin Hinjrah here on Tuesday.

Hinjrah said Cepa will be sending its technical staff to Keti Bandar very soon to start physical work at the site.-APP
