HYDERABAD: Ghulam Hussain Memon, Project Executive Officer, Agriculture Extension Sindh has taken over as the new Director General of the department from August 6, 1995, while Dr Badaruddin Soomro was relieved from his post as notified by the Government of Sindh.

Ghulam Hussain Memon is a senior-most officer of the Agriculture Extension Department and has wide experience in the field of agriculture extension, agriculture marketing and agricultural information.

Soon after his assumption of office Memon assured that Agriculture Extension Department would be re-organized and deep coordination in between growers and extension workers would ensured.
