SUKKUR: Former federal state minister and former Mayor Sukkur, Islamuddin Shaikh on Saturday announced his complete dissociation from Pakistan Muslim League (F) of which he had been provincial secretary general for Sindh, and said that he fully supported the policies of Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.

Addressing a luncheon function arranged by PPP city's general secretary Mushtaq Surehyo for Federal Minister for Education Khurshid Ahmed Shah, Shaikh said he had come specially by chartered plane from Karachi to attend the function of the minister.

He said his presence at the function was an ample proof that he was no more with PML (F). He added, "I fully support the policies persued by PPP under the leadership of Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, and would actively work with federal minister Khurshid Ahmed Shah, for the betterment of the people of Sukkur.

Later in his speech Khurshid Ahmed Shah, also endorsed the views of Islamuddin Shaikh and welcomed his decision to support PPP's policies.-APP
