HYDERABAD: The Governor of Sindh, Kamaluddin Azfar has said that only those nations can succeed, who remember their leaders and the establishment of Benazir Bhutto Gallery as well as Shaheed Bhutto Corner in the institute of Sindhology is not only a great achievement, but it will also introduce the institute at the international level.

The Governor said this while performing the foundation stone laying ceremony of Benazir Bhutto Gallery at the Institute of Sindhology, University of Sindh, Jamshoro on Saturday.

The building of the gallery will be spread in an area of 9800 Sq. ft, and would be completed in one year costing Rs 4.5 million.

The main object of establishing Benazir Bhutto gallery is to preserve valuable documents, antiques as well as the gifts, which were received by the Prime Minister, Benazir Bhutto during her visits abroad.

Provincial Minister, Pir Amjad Hussain Shah Jilani, Consultant, Benazir Bhutto Gallery, Senator Hussain Shah Rashidi, Advisor to Government on Education, Dr Wahab Shaikh, Vice-Chancellor, University of Sindh, Dr Nazeer Memon and Director, Institute of Sindhology Dr G A Allana were also present on the occasion.

The Governor who addressed the gathering in Sindhi highly eulogized the efforts of Senator Hussain Shah Rashidi, under whose development grant, the gallery is being established. He said that there are few parliamentarians, who are spending their development fund for the constructive work.

Kamal Azfar also assured that he was ready for any kind of help with regard to establishment of Benazir Bhutto Gallery. The assistance required, if needed will be given for this purpose, he added.-APP
