Copper Declines
NEW YORK: COMEX copper fell by midday, moving in line with LME copper's dip to a three-week low, but the rollover pressure on COMEX should ease, traders said.
A floor source said there was some commission house selling on the September to December COMEX spread, much of it part of the rollover.
AT 1240 EDT December COMEX was at 133.25 cents a pound, down 0.35 cent, traded 135.00 to 132.70 cents.
September was down 0.55 cent at 134.05 cents.
Another floor source said December could fall to 132.00 to 132.50 cents on a technical basis, but pressure from moving positions to December should ease because the bulk of the liquidations were made on Tuesday.-Reuter
