TBILISI: Georgian Security Minister Igor Georgadze said on Wednesday his forces had detained a group of 10 armed people who had plans of the parliament building and the residence of Georgian leader Eduard Shevardnadze.

But Georgadze told a special session of parliament it was too early to decide whether the group was linked to Tuesday's assassination attempt on Shevardnadze's life.-Reuter
