clarifies report

ISLAMABAD: Referring to a news item published in a section of the press regarding carpet delegation's visit to India, a spokesman of the Ministry of Commerce has termed it as devoid of facts.

While clarifying the position, the spokesman said that the members of the delegation had applied for visas to Indian High Commission through Foreign Office. The delegation would leave for India as soon as the Indian High Commission confirms the visas, the spokesman added.-PPI
