LAHORE: Central Board of Revenue (CBR) is executing five development schemes for provision of office and residential accommodation for Income Tax and Customs departments at six places in the country.

These offices and residential accommodations were being constructed at Landikotal, Sanghar, Dadu, Wagah, Sialkot and Islamabad and have reached completion stages at Sanghar and Dadu in Sindh and crossed halfway mark at other places in terms of utilization of allocated funds.

These schemes involve total estimated cost of Rs.44.834 million with no foreign aid and already, total expenditure of Rs.30.736 million had been incurred and a provision of Rs.9.953 million has been made for continued progress on these schemes during current financial year, according to the official sources.
