SARAJEVO: The Bosnian Army's commander has dismissed a U.S. peace initiative to end the three-year war in Bosnia as incoherent and told his troops the only direction forward is war.

General Rasim Delic said the American plan "still doesn't have either a head or a tail", in remarks on Sunday which were reported on government television and radio. "We cannot expect a lot from the international community. We have only one direction -- to continue fighting," Delic told troops of the Bosnian Army's 4th Corps in the Konjic region west of Sarajevo.-Reuter
