LAHORE: The Ministry of Commerce has issued the election programme for the new election of Pakistan Ready-made Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PRGMEA), North Zone.

According to this programme, nominations papers would be called on August 26, 1995 and received on August 29. Scrutiny of the nomination papers would be made on August 30. which will be followed by the final list of candidates on August 31.

The polling amongst the final candidates would be held on September 12, and the office-bearers elected in result of this polling shall take charge of their offices in the Annual General Meeting on September 14.

In a letter, written to the Secretary of the PRGMEA by the Ministry of Commerce, it has been underlined that the election process will be supervised by the nominees of the DTO, at both polling booths i.e. Lahore and Sialkot besides, constituting a fresh board of scrutinizers.
