RECORDER REPORT
KARACHI: Central leaders of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Traders and Cottage Industries, Azizur Rahman Rajput (Sindh), Haji Maqsood Butt (Punjab), Haji Haleem Jan (NWFP) and Abdul Hameed Daultani (Balochistan) on Saturday exchanged views on the countrywide strike on August 26 and expressed satisfaction over the success of the strike.
The central leaders particularly hailed the trade bodies of Sindh to have observed complete and successful strike in the province for five continuous days at a stretch. The trade bodies of Sindh were specially praised for the sacrifice and depicting complete unity among trader community.
Keeping this in view the central leaders have decided to exempt Sindh trade bodies from observing strike on August 27 as special relief for traders as well as the general public.
However, in the rest of the country complete strike will be observed on August 27 as earlier decided, according to a fax message received here.
