Afghan DPs till

their return

PESHAWAR: Commissioner Afghan Refugees, Rustam Shah Mohamand said, despite shortage of foreign aid to Afghan refugees, the government would continue to facilitate refugees till their return to their homeland with honour and dignity.

Talking to the elders of Afghan refugees during his visit of Ghamgoel, Chechni and Ghulam Banda refugees camps in Kohat Division, he urged the refugees to shift to safer places inside Afghanistan in order to participate in the reconstruction of their war-torn country. He said, Afghan Jehad had changed the history of the current century, therefore, they should not lose the fruit of the 14 years Jehad.

The elders of Afghan refugees apprised the Commissioner about their problems. Commissioner Afghan Refugees issued necessary orders to Distrcit Administrator Kohat to solve the problem, facing by the refugees on priority basis especially the drinking water schemes.-APP
