people for

ignoring strike

KARACHI: Sindh Miniter for Law and Parliamentary Affairs and Housing Town Planning, Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq, has paid tributes to the peace loving people of Karachi for disassociating themselves from the two-day strike call of Altaf group.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, he said the people of Karachi are fed up with such calls.

Pir Mazhar said now the Altaf group should read the writing on the wall.

He said that owing to the effective measures taken by the government, there is a decline in acts of terrorism as well as fear.

The Minister said the law and order situation is improving and that is why the people of Karachi are openly condemning terrorists and the terrorist activities.

He warned that if in the garb of two-day "youm-i-soug" any damage is caused to the life and property of the innocent people the sole responsibility would rest with Altaf group.
