ISLAMABAD: Indian press has reported that External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee informed the Lok Sabha on August 17 that India has told US that supply of dollars 368 million worth of arms to Pakistan with relaxation of the Pressler Amendment could trigger an arms race in the region.

According to another report, India has also taken up with the Chinese government the issue of supply of sophisticated arms and technology including missiles to Pakistan. India was also aware of the joint efforts by Pakistan and China to develop the Super-7 aircraft, the Press Trust of India said.-APP
