passes away

LAHORE: Dr. S.S. Alam, consultant radiologist to Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, passed away on Wednesday after short illness at the age of 90 years.

He leaves behind a widow and a daughter.

Dr. Alam who was Head of the Department of Radiology and Professor at KEMC for many years, was one of the member of a four-man medical team which treated the Founder of the Nation Qauid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah during his illness at Ziarat in 1948.-APP
