Aero Asia opens

route to

Kyrghystan

ISLAMABAD: Aero Asia on Wednesday made a historic breakthrough by operating first international flight to Bishkek the capital of Kyrghystan.

The flight was operated by Boeing aircraft with a capacity of 186 passengers.

Senior officials from Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan were on board to monitor the performance of the flight.

Among the distinguished quests on board were Enver Jamal, former Chairman PIAC, journalists, PTV officials, Arshad Jalil, Managing Director of Aero Asia and Imran Tabani, Director of Aero Asia.

On arrival at Bishkek, the Dy. Director General of Department of Civil Aviation of Kyrghystan, welcomed the flight and the accompanying officials.

Speaking at the luncheon, the officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Transport of Government of Kyrghystan, welcomed the introduction of scheduled operation of Aero Asia. They hoped that Aero Asia will play a positive role in promoting friendship between the two countries and passenger and cargo traffic will be generated to help boost the economy of both the countries. They welcomed forthcoming visit of Prime Minister of Pakistan and termed operation of scheduled flights between the two countries as happy augury.-APP
