calls on Saroop

LAHORE: The Special Envoy of the government of Kuwait, Sheikh Salam Al-Sabah Al-Salam Al-Sabah, called on the Governor Punjab, Lt. Gen. (Retd) Raja Saroop Khan, at the Governor's House, here on Tuesday and remained with him for sometime.

Various matters of mutual interest came under discussion during the meeting. The Governor maintained that Pakistan enjoys strong brotherly relations with Kuwait at social political and culture levels. He said already existing cordial relations between the two countries will be further cemented with the passage of time.

Thanking the Governor for his sentiments, the distinguished guest described the relations between the two countries as bilateral, all-weather and above all geo-political considerations.-APP
