ISLAMABAD: The internationally acclaimed National Theatre of Japan will perform here on August 30 and 31, at the Red Crescent Society Auditorium.

Through a magnificent blend of playacting, dance and music, Kabuki today offers an extraordinary spectacle combining form, colour and sound and is recognized as one of the world's greatest theatrical traditions.

The 11-member group led by Koji Orita, comprises 4 actors, 3 musicians and 3 technical experts is visiting South Asia for the first time.

The Kabuki performance has been arranged by the Embassy of Japan in collaboration with Pakistan National Council of the Arts and assisted by the Pakistan-Japan Cultural Association.-APP
