LAHORE: "Bankers should avail the opportunities of learning new techniques of modern banking to face new challenges of banking industry," Habib H. Mirza, Regional Chief Executive of Habib Bank Ltd said here on Tuesday.

Inauguarting two-week Professional Advancement Programme for the newly promoted vice presidents and assitant vice presidents, in which 19 executives of different branches from all over the country participated, Habib H. Mirza said that the programme would bring positive change in the minds of participants that ensure personal as well as organizational growth.

He explained the dynamic role of the Hibab Bank Ltd as a commercial bank which played its role in the development of the country's economy. He emphasised upon the participants to avail the opportunity of learning new tools and techniques of modern banking and updating their knowledge to face th future challanges of the banking industry.

Earlier, Shaheen Babar Khan Durrani, Senior Vice President and Principal of the Habib Bank Training Institute welcomed the chief guest and the participants and narrated the objectives of the programme. He also apprised the regional chief of the training activities conducted by the institute during the current year.
