KPT handles

23, 029 tonnes cargo

KARACHI: The Karachi Port handled 23,029 tonnes of cargo including imported and export goods during the past 24 hours, KPT sources said on Monday.

Port handled 18,289 tonnes of imported cargo and 4,740 tonnes of export goods. Port did not handle any liquid cargo and all the cargo was dry.

Two ships sailed while four ships berthed. Nine ships are expected to sail in the next 24 hours whereas 10 vessels are expected to arrive.-APP
