Four die as
British chopper
crashes into
Adriatic
ZAGREB: A British helicopter went down in the Adriatic Sea while on a training flight Sunday, killing four of the five crew members aboard, officials said.
The soldiers, whose identities were not released, were members of the United Nations' Rapid Reaction Force for Bosnia, currently based at the southern Croatian Port of Ploce.
The helicopter crashed about 10 kilometers south of ploce at 9:43 a.m. (0743 gmt) on Sunday.
The cause of the crash was unknown. But UN spokesman Chris Gunness said weather was bad at the time of the accident.-AP
