Drilling deal
signed
BOMBAY: Hitech Drilling Services India Ltd, a Tata Group company, said it had signed a contract to provide Australia's Command Petroleum with offshore drilling services.
It said it would provide a drilling rig for 28 wells in the Ravva Field, offshore east coast of India. The drilling programme will continue for two to three years, it said.
Command Petroleum is the designated operator for a consortium comprising India's Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, Videocon group and Ravva (Oil Singapore) Pty Ltd, a Marubeni subsidiary.
Hitech Drilling did not give any financial details.-Reuter
