RECORDER REPORT

LAHORE: Akbari Mandi commodity market on Sunday showed mixed trend and prices moved both ways despite very meagre and low turnout.

Sugar dealers, according to their commitment with the federal government officials, lowered the price of sugar to Rs 16.00 per Kg. Despite this decrease in price there was no buyer in the market because of different rumours and statements issued by sugar manufacturers.

In the pulses sector, dal masoor continued its rising trend and was increased by Rs 20 per maund, while dal gram was up by Rs 10 per maund.

Karyana and rice maintained their previous prices.
