Clarification

KARACHI: Reacting to a news item in the Business Recorder of August 18, regarding allocation of Rs 103 million to the Textile Quota Management Directorate from Export Market Development Fund (EMDF), TQMD has clarified that no such decision was taken in the meeting held in Islamabad on August 15 about allocation of funds from EMDF to TQMD. The only decision taken was that Director General of TQMD was made a member of the Board of Administrators of the EMDF.
