LIVERPOOL: The strong performance of New York futures coupled with continuing holiday influences constrained fresh raw cotton trading throughout Europe, industry sources said.

A few enquiries were noted for nearby Central Asian better grades in Italy, Portugal and Belgium but turnover was very light.

Eastern European markets lacked feature and the UK was again slow.-Reuter
