LIVERPOOL: The underlying mood remained generally cautious in virtually all raw cotton markets in Europe in the absence of new stimulus, industry sources said.

A few nearby delivery inquiries were noted, particularly in Spain and Italy for selected medium/better staple cottons.

Eastern european markets were also mostly inactive, apart from a retail interest in long staple varieties. No business of any consequence was noted in the United Kingdom.-Reuter
