Rs 40m to flood

relief fund

KARACHI: Muhammad Younus Dalia, President, Habib Bank Limited, announced Habib Bank donation of Rs 40.000 million towards Prime Minister's Flodd Relief Fund, in a specially convened meeting in Pakistan Banking Council, which was chaired by V. A. Jafarey, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Finance and Economic Affairs. The meeting was attended by Mohammad Ahsan, Chairman, Pakistan and private banks.

Dalia, while announcing the donation, mentioned about the approach of Habib Bank towards matters of national interest. He said that the Bank has always lent a helping hand to the people of Pakistan in the hour of need. He expressed that the people in the flood affected areas deserve all sorts of help and assured that the Bank would render all possible assistance to the affectees of this calamity all over the country.
