DHAKA: The Bangladesh taka closed unchanged at $0.1990/$0.2000 to the dollar in interbank trading, dealers said.

Dealers said there was active trading but the market was hit by a dollar shortages, forcing many banks to buy the US currency from the central bank.

Interbank call money rates closed at 3.0 percent to 3.5 percent against 3.0-3.25 percent previously.-Reuter
