25 PTC men

KARACHI: The government has approved the promotion of 25 officers of Pakistan Telecommunication Corporation (PTC), working in BPS-19 to BPS-20 with effect from August 2, 1995, it was officially learnt here on Wednesday.

The PTC officers promoted are: Messrs Abid Ali Jamali, Arjumand A. Shaikh, Irfan Ali Khan, Mohammed Ishaque Awan, Mohammed Aslam, Mohammed Saeed Wazir, Anwar Husain Naqvi, Mohammed Hussain, Mohammed Idrees, Mohammed Ishaque Chohan, Mohammed Ayub shaikh, Ayub Ahmed Zaheer, Zafar Ali Choudhry, Mehboob Ali, Mohammed Zafar Iqbal, Nazir Ahmed Nasim, Aftab Ahmed, Karim Nawaz, Abdul Rehman Bangesh, Rafique Hussain, Ahmed Shokaib Sahibzada, Mehboobur Rehman, Noor Mohammed Akhund, Khushi Mohammed Bhutto and Ashiq Hussain Javed.

According to a notification since among the promotees Messrs Mohammed Ishaque Awan, Mohammed Aslam, Mohammed Idrees, Mohammed Ishaque Chohan, Zafar Ali Choudhry, Mohammed Zafar Iqbal, Rafiq Hussain and Ahmed Shokaib Sahibzada have not under-gone training at NIPA, their promotion was subject to successful completion of NIPA training.

Among the list of promotees, Khushi Mohammed Bhutto is already working as General Manager Southern Telecommunication Region (STR), Irfan Ali Khan as General Manager KTR-II (North) and Abid Ali Jamali as General Manager Switching and Transmission at Karachi.
