ISLAMABAD: Former federal minister and central PML (N) leader Ejazul Haq on Tuesday appealed to the Chief of Army Staff General Abdul Waheed to expose all those elements involved in the crash of C-130 aircraft killing his father late General Ziaul Haq, the then COAS, Akhtar Abdur Rehman, the then Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and other senior military officials were killed.

" I appeal to the Chief of Army Staff, General Waheed to fulfil his responsibility and take action against those vested interest who are earning bad name for the Pak Army", he told a news conference here on Tuesday.

He said "General Waheed is being considered a professional soldier who has never indulged in politics and I am confident that his personal interest will expose who had eliminated the top military brass."

Ejazul Haq said he will send a letter to the army chief and also meet him (COAS) in this connection.

To a question he said he is consulting his legal experts to pursue the case which he said is still alive. He said there is no need of filing fresh FIR and name of the suspected people could be included in the old FIR.
