DUBAI: International Autumn Trade Fair, which is to run at the Dubai World Trade Centre from November 7 to 11, will have ten official national pavilions including Pakistan which will be fielding 30 exhibitors.

The official national pavilions include China (100 exhibitors), Thailand (55), Indonesia (60), Pakistan (30), Turkey (25), Ezech Republic (10), Poland (15), Bangladesh (10), Romania (15) and Russia (10).

Pakistani companies will be led by the Export Promotion Bureau for the second consecutive year.

The 10th edition of the fair drawing a total of 600 exhibitions from 35 countries will have five more national groups organized on private initiatives from France, India, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Bulgaria.

Several countries from the CIS, including Ukraine, Estonia, Baskhortostan and Russia will be well represented at the fair reflecting their growing commercial role in the Gulf especially in UAE.

The fair promises to live up to its image as a venue to forge and renew business alliances - and more importantly a spinringboard to target a 200 billion dollar market for which Dubai is the traditional entrepot while providing a window on the newest product and services.

The autumn fair, which has been recording an impressive growth over the past decade, will have on display thousands of new consumer and light industrial products ranging from cosmetics and foodstuffs to electronics, household appliances, construction materials, farm products, plastic and electronics groups, carpets, garments, sanitaryware and handicrafts.-PPI
