BALOCHISTAN GOVERNOR

Balochistan Acting Governor Mr. Justice Munawar Ahmad Mirza said we had achieved this country after supreme sacrifices and had gave our blood for securing freedom of this motherland he said it is our responsibility to repledge to maintain this liberty and should strive for it.

He said it is also our duty and that of our younger generation to work for the stability, dignity and progress of this country and for this we should develop the same spirit as was demonstrated during Pakistan movement.

In his message, Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Zulfiqar Magsi said that achieving country was difficult task but to maintain it is much more difficult. It is imperative on all of us to sink our differences and to express solidarity and unity to enter the 21st century as a dignified and prosperous nation.

Magsi regretted that despite lapse of 48 years "we did nothing for the progress and prosperity of the nation and the state to put its economy on right track and for the elimination of illteracy backwardness and social injustice."

He said that focus of our politics rally round in gaining our personals interests. He said if we wish to change Pakistan into a great nation, we must give up religious, sectarian and personal prejudices and focus our attention on the development of the country.
