deplores killings

in Neelum Valley

ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir was held under the Chairmanship of Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan in the Parliament House here on Friday.

The Committee noted with deep concern the deteriorating situation in the Neelum Valley of Azad Kashmir in the wake of firing by the Indian Security Forces in which number of innocent people have been martyred or wounded. It deplored the indiscriminate firing by the Indian Forces.

The Committee considered ways and mode for increase of contribution to Kashmir Fund. In this regard it was decided that one month pay to be contributed by Parliamentary Kashmir Committee Members to "Kashmir Relief Fund". Every possible efforts to be made to extend help to the Kashmiri people in their struggle for their right to self determination.
