KHIPRO: 280 employees of the food department including supervisors and food inspectors were dismissed on Tuesday.

According to reliable sources the Sindh Government has dismissed 280 employees of the food department including supervisors, food inspectors and AFC grade workers who had been appointed during the regime of Nawaz Sharif. The sources further said that the sacked employees were not even paid their salaries for the last six month.

The sacked employees have accused the government of political victimization. When the officials of food department were contracted, they said that the 280 employees were dismissed from their services because they had not been appointed in accordance with the rules and regulations.-PPI
