Lahore-Delhi bus service to continue

LAHORE: Lahore-New Delhi bus service will continue its operation and no proposal is under consideration to stop the bus service.

A bus number LXK-2425 will leave Lahore on Tuesday (Today) with 39 passengers on board including 29 Indians, 7 Pakistani and 3 of another country, Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) sources told APP on Monday.

They said that passengers have reserved their seats for next two days and there is no security problem inside the Pakistani border.

They said that a bus number DL-IP 3710-11 will also leave New Delhi for Lahore on Tuesday as per schedule.

The bus service operates four days a week i.e. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, they said adding that Pakistani buses have the capacity of 39 passengers excluding the crew members and security staff, while passengers capacity in Indian buses is 34.

To a query, the sources expressed satisfaction over the security arrangements in Pakistan and said that Indians should further tighten, security in the passengers interest. APP
